Find China
In my youth, my parents bought some commercial china with a blue floral pattern on a white background that we all thought was remarkable. Decades later, while researching something else, I came across a Ming dynasty plate that I realized was the source for my parents’ china. The company had ripped off the Ming dynasty plate! So I decided to copy the American version. I made one change: I inserted the map of China into the design. I call it “Find China” because I always wanted to make ‘fine china.”
